Steve is the President and CEO of EmployeeChannel and is responsible for driving the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company. He leads EmployeeChannel's team with an emphasis on operational excellence as well as customer and partner success. Steve is a seasoned executive with 25+ years of success building and leading high tech companies ranging from large firms to early- and mid-stage startups. Prior to joining EmployeeChannel, Steve was CEO of VirtuOz (acquired by Nuance Communications), a provider of cloud-based virtual agents for online marketing, sales and support. He also formerly served as the CEO at Sabrix (acquired by Thomson Reuters) and at Uniscape (acquired by Trados) and has held SVP, Worldwide Marketing positions at Citrix Systems and Novell. Steve has an M.A. and a Ph.D. from Florida State University.
Mark is a successful engineering and operations executive with 20+ years of experience in delivering high quality, market-defining products and services. As SVP of Product, Mark oversees all aspects of product development. Mark has a history of leading growth stage technology companies to a successful exit. Prior to EmployeeChannel, Mark served in a number of executive management roles, including Engineering, Services, Product Management, and Support. Most recently, as Chief Product Officer at Granicus, he oversaw the Product Management and Development functions, driving a unification of the portfolio and improved execution. Prior to that, he led the engineering, linguistics, hosted operations, and managed services functions a VirtuOz, driving a transformation within each area. Before that, he led Sabrix’s delivery of a SaaS offering that resulted in over 300% bookings growth in its first 2 years. Mark has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Sandy Yu owns and drives the company’s marketing and product direction with an intense focus on delivering innovative, intuitive, and highly differentiated products at a start-up pace. Sandy has experience managing the entire product lifecycle, from early concepts and prototypes, to market releases, to broad market penetration, to a position of market dominance evidenced by a loyal and referenceable base of partners and customers. She has more than 15 years experience in product management and development for consumer, corporate, and educational organizations, and she is a highly motivated, passionate, and innovative thinker. Sandy has experience and expertise in eCommerce, web, and mobile strategy, and has provided leadership in product development, analysis, and project and program management for companies such as Autodesk, Avid Technology, Digidesign, and the University of California, Davis. Sandy has a B.A. in Economics from UCD and an M.B.A. from SFSU.
Steve leads the company’s enterprise sales team and drives both strategic and tactical initiatives to meet the company’s growth objectives for revenue, profitability, and market dominance. He is responsible for growing market share while fostering high degrees of customer satisfaction. Steve has a proven track record of delivering consistent top-line revenue growth, recruiting and developing world-class sales teams, and ensuring that the customer voice is reflected in the company’s decision making. Steve is an experienced enterprise sales executive in the HR technology marketplace, having recently served as the Vice President of Sales, North America at Cornerstone OnDemand, a leader in talent management software. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Steve served as a Regional Vice President of Sales at SumTotal Systems, a provider of Human Capital Management solutions, and as a Regional Sales Manager at Concur Technologies, a provider of T&E Management Solutions. Steve has a B.A. in Liberal Arts, from DePauw University.

Bill’s current private companies include Altiscale, Healthtap, Splice Machine, Neon Labs, Visible Measures, Audience Science, nLight Photonics, and RainDance Technologies.
Gordon is a Founder and General Partner of Emergence Capital Partners. Prior to founding Emergence, he spent over 15 years founding and building companies which pioneered new markets including embedded web-based interfaces, server appliances, “On Demand” services for the SMB market and web-native application development. In 2003, Gordon led Emergence Capital’s first investment, in Salesforce.com. In 2008, Gordon invested in Industry Cloud pioneer Veeva Systems when the company had 25 employees and less than $2 million in revenue. He has played a key role in the company’s development (now a public company NYSE:VEEV) and he is currently Veeva’s Chairman. Gordon was named to the Forbes’ Midas List of the top venture capital investors in 2007, 2012, 2014 and 2015.
